A: Any concern that gets in the way of taking care of your optimal well-being is the perfect subject to begin coaching with. You will take an assessment to help you figure out which area will be most impactful for you to start with. Areas includes:

A: Some HSAs cover health coaching. Your physician needs to sign a “Letter of Medical Necessity,” which you then submit to your insurance. Make sure to communicate with your HSA provider beforehand and submit any necessary paperwork for reimbursement.

A: Therapy and counseling are more past-focused. Therapists are trained to diagnose and treat mental health challenges and helps people move from a place of dysfunction to stability. Coaching is more future-focused. Coaches do not treat or diagnose any health conditions; rather, they help clients develop a vision for their life and health, set goals, and create action steps so they can optimize their lives and fulfillment.
