Many professionals are experiencing challenges with well-being in the workplace, especially since the changes brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. They are facing mental health challenges, loneliness, burnout, and disengagement, all of which significantly impact productivity, retention, and effectiveness at work. While many companies have implemented wellness initiatives, these often focus on surface-level perks like gym memberships or mindfulness apps, failing to address the deeper, systemic issues affecting employee well-being. A more comprehensive, evidence-informed approach is essential—one that combines education on well-being with personalized coaching to help employees implement sustainable practices. This not only improves mental health outcomes but also enhances engagement, resilience, and organizational success.
Workshops
My signature talk, “Balancing the Scales: Building Well-Being and Resilience into Your Legal Practice,” is an hour-long workshop in which participants learn about the eight dimensions of well-being, why it's so important to establish healthy habits for lifelong wellness, and why it's so hard to actually do. Then, they begin to build their internal resources that help them manage stress by identifying and implementing healthy habits specifically for them. We go beyond just diet and exercise and explore all areas of well-being, such as mindful awareness, social support, and sleep. Participants walk away with a plan to get started immediately. Other potential workshops include stress management and burnout prevention, health foundations (eat, move, sleep), and mindfulness. All workshops are engaging, interactive, and inclusive. |
